TIARA ON THE BEACH GROUNDBREAKING



Tiara on the Beach, a 10-story high-end, luxury condominium project located at the west end of the seawall, behind the dunes in Galveston, Texas recently broke ground.
The development will house 63 one-to-three-bedroom units with amenities that include a game room, golf simulator, media room, private wine storage, a resort-style pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor sports court and walkways to the beach. The project will be complete in June, 2027.
This is TMG’s second development with Satya, Inc.
HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS-STAYBRIDGE SUITES TOPPING OUT



Neway Hospitality recently celebrated the Topping Out ceremony at the Holiday Inn Express/Staybridge Suites project in the downtown Houston Central Business District area.
The 17-story hotel project will have a combined 275 guestrooms and will include a grocery store on the ground level. Public spaces will have a “Houston Astros” theme with amenities that include an outdoor pool and fitness center. Project completion will be November 2024
TMG+ AWARDED CHRIST THE KING



TMG+ was recently awarded the role of Project Manager for Christ the King, located in Houston, Texas. The project is in the early stages of master planning for future expansion and renovations.
THE EMERY/WEINER SCHOOL BREAKS GROUND



A groundbreaking ceremony was held to celebrate the start of construction on Emery Weiner’s new Sports and Engineering Complex. In addition to the new construction, EWS is renovating existing space for a new café, scene shop and locker rooms. A pre-engineered building will be erected to serve as an indoor, multipurpose practice facility
All work is being performed by Harvey / Cleary and Kirksey is the Architect. Construction will be complete by the start of the fall 2025 school year.
UNITED ORTHODOX SYNAGOGUE COMPLETION



United Orthodox Synagogue recently celebrated completion of the new UOS Riva & Ira Mitzner Campus, a 32,000 square foot expansion located in the Meyerland area in Houston, Texas. The project, a necessity due to the many flooding events in recent years, was set in motion after Hurricane Harvey.
A state-of-the-art structure is now elevated eight feet from street level to protect it from future floods and utilizes unique features to maintain ADA accessibility.
The building houses a new 342-seat sanctuary with stained glass salvaged from the old building. Adjacent to the sanctuary are a social hall, meat preparation and dairy kitchens, library, administrative offices, break-out rooms, Sukkah canopy and a Chapel. The new building connects to the existing campus by a covered walkway.
This project was challenging due to the tight site constraints. The project team of Butler Cohen Design + Build and Harry Gendel Architects proved to be the right choice to help UOS open new doors to the community.
TMG+ AWARDED HOUSTON FOOD BANK



TMG+ has been awarded the role of Project Manager for the Houston Food Bank’s new Northwest Houston facility. The project, being designed by Kirksey, will serve as a community hub for HFB’s distribution operations.
The planned 320,000 sf building will house a variety of dry and cold food storage, flexible workspaces, meeting rooms, and conference and volunteer facilities. A Welcome Center and community partner spaces are planned along with a 4-level parking structure.
HYATT PLACE/HYATT HOUSE — OPEN FOR BUSINESS



On February 23rd, the Hyatt Place / Hyatt House hotel opened for business just in time for the Houston Rodeo. This is TMG+ first hotel for Satya, Inc. as Project Managers. The duel-brand 298 room, 14-story hotel is located in Houston’s medical center.
The Hyatt House offers 141 rooms and the Hyatt Place has 157 rooms. Both brands share public space and amenities such as the extensive seventh floor amenity deck with outdoor gathering space, multiple fire pits, an outdoor pool and bar, indoor meeting space and a fitness center. The hotel also features a full-service restaurant and lobby cafe, two on-site bars, a dining area and a six-level parking garage. E. E. Reed was the General Contractor and design was provided by G2 Architects.
TMG+ LEADING FAIRMONT MUSEUM DISTRICT #3 AS PROJECT MANAGERS



TMG+ is excited to be providing Project Management services for the third phase of The Fairmont Museum District. This luxury multi-family complex, now branded “The Heron Museum District” located in Houston, Texas will feature 9-stories of residential units with over 3 levels of private parking garage, fitness area, private screening room, co-working space, a spacious fountain courtyard area with grilling stations and an expansive pool deck.
Construction is ongoing and the project will be completed in late 2025.
THE EVELYN RUBENSTEIN JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER DEDICATION



On Sunday, February 26, 2023 TMG+ was present to witness the dedication of the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center in Bellaire, Texas. This state-of-the-art campus includes the three-story Samuels Family Community Pavilion, Joe Weingarten Building and tennis center.
The new facility includes full fitness, group exercise and child play areas with new locker rooms, sauna and pools. A significant water park includes indoor and outdoor lap pools, a family recreational pool and infant play pool.

THE MATHIS CUP CELEBRATES 15 YEARS



The annual Mathis Cup golf tournament celebrated its 15th year of fellowship, community service and great golf. Team Red, led by TMG’s Stephen Clay, took home the trophy for the 2024 season.

This year, all proceeds were donated to Builders of Hope, a coalition of leaders in our industry that grant construction-related wishes through our local Make-A-Wish Foundation.
TEXAS A&M GUEST LECTURER – JOSEPH H. MATHIS



Joseph Mathis served as a guest lecturer this spring for the Texas A&M Department of Construction Sciences. His lesson plan was about his lifetime in construction, referring specifically to his pre-construction experience. We couldn’t be more proud of our Founder and president – doing what he loves!
Joe is a proud Purdue Boilermaker but admits he really enjoys his time in Aggieland!!
TEAM TMG+ TAKES 2ND PLACE AT ACRP GOLFIESTA 2024

This year, ACRP partnered with Team Audrey’s Hero’s and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Building Tomorrow Foundation.
EMERY / WEINER “JOY OF EDUCATION” EVENT



TMG+ was a sponsor at The Emery / Weiner School’s 2024 “Joy of Education” dinner and fundraiser. TMG+ has the privilege of providing project management services for Emery / Weiner’s new Innovation Lab, Athletics Facilities and Scene Shop.
Throughout the night, attendees were invited to “sign the beam” that will be placed in the building to stay forever. Beam signing is a very special construction tradition that signifies and unites everyone’s hard work and efforts for the project.
